UPDATE 4-23-99: On Monday, 4-19-99 I went to court for a hearing to determine visitation. I was offered 7 WEEKS per year. 7 weeks out of Fifty Two. 52! I declined and stated I wanted more visitation, closer to half time, and Judge Ronald Poole threw his papers on his desk, refused to give me visitation and stormed out of the courtroom. You arrogant bastard, Judge Poole. So my son continues to suffer and be harmed by his dangerous mother. I will post her FULL psychological Evaluation tomorrow, 4-24-99 and let you judge for yourself. PLEASE send a message below, this time to the Senator of the State.

UPDATE 4-3-99: Enough of you have visited this site and sent comments that the courts have taken notice and tried to ban email from this site. So, in due course, I have moved the site! To you visitors this will be transparent for obvious reasons. To the court: Don't think you can just ignore this. My son is being hurt and traumatized. He lives in a pig sty. He's infested with Lice. And I haven't been given or even offered a single visit since your poor judgment came down. You will listen until this is resolved.

UPDATE 2-23-99: Nathaniel's mother, in true paranoid fashion, has now claimed that I have tried twice since the custody decision to run her off the road! At no time since then have I even seen her. Furthermore she has stated that she will not give me visits with my son, even though they are court ordered.

Yes, you are reading correctly. The state of Oregon in the United States of America is a true supporter of child abuse. I recently went through a custody trial in which my 21 month old son, Nathaniel Alexander Ward, was placed in the care of his mentally ill mother. Not only has she been diagnosed as having severe mental problems, but she has refused help. She quit going to counseling because she said she wasn't getting anything out of it.

This woman has no job. She has no car. She does not work. She has no home of her own to live in. Over the year and a half course of the custody case she went through 5 lawyers, 4 Case Workers in Children's services and moved 11 times, sponging off one person after another.  She gets only a bit over $400 in child support from her daughter's father on which to live. That is nowhere NEAR enough money to support even ONE child upon, let alone two. How, then, can this happen? I am Nathaniel's father, Jason G. Ward, and it is my intention to tell you.

On these pages you will find pictures of Nathaniel that have been taken in the time since he has been living with his mother. In the 2 months since that time he has been Burned, Bruised, Cut and subjected to doctor's visit after doctor's visit for illnesses he simply does NOT have. I will post pictures, her psychological evaluation AND mine. This woman is a certifiable NUTCASE.

Am I flawless and perfect? No. I have made my share of mistakes. I have screwed up and made mistakes and caused problems that didn't need to happen. But there is a difference here: I LEARNED from my mistakes. I took the experiences of my past and turned them into lessons. I have grown and made myself a better man through reflection, introspection, study and hard work. And yet still the State of Oregon has made the decision to place Nathaniel with his mother, in spite of the damages she has caused him, in spite of her inability to care for him properly. Please read on and see for yourself what it is I am talking about.

This picture was from the first day after Nathaniel was taken and placed with his mother. It was taken at a visitation in which I, Nathaniel's father, was allowed to see him for all of 2 HOURS per week. That's courtesy of the State Offices for Services to Children and Families. What a FRAUDULENT organization they are.

This is from the same visitation, a different angle. These appear OT be fingernail marks. Later on Nathaniel would begin pinching people's faces during visitation in such a manner as to leave marks similar to these. He learned that behavior SOMEWHERE, and the somewhere is: In the care of his abusive mother.

Again the same day, but notice from this angle you can see that there is also a cut along his eyelid. Again, this was acquired in the care of his mother.

This bruise was from approximately one week later. Nathaniel came into the visit with several such bruises on this particular day, not to mention other days. And though they looked and took pictures, the SCF department did NOTHING to stop this abuse.

The following week, in mid December, Nathaniel came in to the visit tightly bundled in several layers of clothing. His mother tried to cancel the visitation this day, though we did not find out why until we got him there. I INSISTED she bring him for the visit this day, and I am glad that I did, or her ABUSE might have gone unnoticed and unphotographed.

This is Nathaniel near the end of a visit as he is hugging my mother and his grandmother, Helen Ward. Nathaniel hates the end of the visit and he cries terribly when it is time for the SCF workers to come and take him away. Nathaniel is being not just physically traumatized, he is being EMOTIONALLY traumatized and abused/ However, unlike the physical abuse, the EMOTIONAL abuse is also being inflicted upon him by the State of Oregon's court system and the SCF department.

Yet another shot of the burn that Nathaniel's Mother  tried to cover up by bundling Nathaniel in a ton of clothes and trying to lie and keep me from having a visit that day.

The same week as the burn on Nathaniel's arm there was this smaller burn on his face. Over the course of the past 2 and a half months he has come to visits with burns on his face, his arms and his ears.

This shot is a little clearer; as you can see the bruise was both fairly large AND it was blistered severely. Whenever we tried to touch the arm that was burned in order to get a photograph Nathaniel would scream and hide his face as if he were embarrassed and hurt.

This large bruise is right on the crux of Nathaniel's elbow and is just about the same size as a finger or thumb. It seems clear that she was angry with him and let her temper get out of control.

And even more on this same day, Nathaniel came in with his cheeks frostbitten from overexposure to the cold air. This simple NEGLIGENCE caused Nathaniel to have severely chapped cheeks and lips. He also seemed very emotionally agitated and sobbed a great deal. In later visitations Nathaniel would show severe anger with regard to his mother, throwing toys and screaming, "Mommy!" angrily.
